Back in late 80s Matsa was one of the Manchester youths who experienced acid house's arrival to the legendary Hacienda club. During the next 15 years Matsa took off to Amsterdam and Berlin and finally Helsinki, where he recently hooked up with Acid Kings. Liberation Sugar, Matsa's debut release, is the great fusion of classic electro-disco-pop-style vocals and oldshool acid lines. The original mix is the sort of track that when you hear for the first time, you'll think that it's a track you should already know. Warm, lush and very dancefloor friendly. The Acid Kings remix takes out the disco and adds lashings of ACIIIIID! As you'd expect, keeping it for the floor, but with a more underground vibe...
